This release is evil. Plain and simple. If you want blasphemy spewed forth in heavy does then War Hymns of the Dark Communion is what you need to listen to. Even the clean guitars scattered throughout the demo are nothing short of a brooding evil before the slaughter. Everything from the demonic vocals, to the whispers, to the keys, to the shredding guitars just make you feel as if Old Nick was possessed while he recorded this. If there was a theme song to dementia it would be the track "Behold the Kingdom of Darkness." Definitely not for the weak of heart or anyone afraid of the dark within their own mind. If you like your black metal evil, satanic, and downright unnerving, then this release should not be missed. This is the soundtrack to hell. Period.
