WULF KRY (USA) | ||
August 4, 2005 Interview conducted by Daedra with Wherwolf (bass) of Wulf Kry. -Daedra- -Wehrwolf- Knowing that you formed not too long ago, is there, so far, any available band history for Wulf Kry? Line up? Well, I came up with the idea for Wulf Kry a while ago and then I told the guitarist about it. He liked the idea and we started jaming and coming up with a few riffs. The lineup, as it stands, is me on bass and also the song arrangements, my friend, Julian, on guitar, Scott from Southern Storm on hammers, and Luke on vocals and lyrical arrangement. I'm happy with the lineup as we are all motivated an accomplished musicians. Any side projects you or any of the others are involved in? I know Julian plays in an Iron Maiden style band and Scott's with Southern Storm, of course. I am also working on my own folk project which is in the vein of Ogneslav. What are the current things going on with Wulf Kry? Recording. Finding time and a place to record is tricky as a lot of the members do work and study full time. Do all members share the same influences musically? We are all deeply into black metal. Although I tend to drift off into the more folk and Celtic music. We also appreciate punk and classical, too. What is the belief of Wulf Kry? Our music is based on honoring and loving our fatherland. Some members are more politically influenced. Our lyrics are about war and pride. Can you summarize the political beliefs for us? As I stated earlier, some of the members are just proud of their heritage and not very political minded but love playing the music. I am more political as is Scott. I believe Aryan blood is thicker than any water and we are stronger than any other! We must honor the tyrants and patriots that spilled their blood for us as they refreshed the tree of liberty and helped secure and existence for our race and our children. How strong is this belief in the lyrics? Should the listener take serious everything you write about? Hopefully, our lyrics don't come on too strongly. It's good to create mystery and confusion in lyrics as it keeps people entertained. I want people to perceive it how they want to. If they want to take it seriously then great. If they don't, then I hope they just enjoy the music. However, saying that I would like to think that it lays down a message that is positive and, in some way, enlightens the listener. How big is the black metal scene in Australia? Do you have plans to become a part of it? It is a shame that the NS scene isn't overly big here. If it were to grow, I would like to convey our music and lyrical themes. What are some bands in Australia that you would like to mention and feel are most true to their message? A few bands would be: Drakul - They play grim barbaric black metal which reminds me of Judas Iscariot. Deanach Turus - White power folk. The use of traditional Irish instruments. Spear of Longinis - One of the best National Socialist bands in Australia! Who in the Australian black metal scene is most untrue to their message or has changed for the worse? Morbicae. From Tasmania. I think he made about 10 songs and then got out of the scene for reasons that are un-honorable so I will spare him the embarassment of putting them here. What are your opinions on the scene in your country in Australia? I think people here need to come out of their shell a little more and stop hiding what you believe in. I hate to see people do that and then stray away from their flock. What do you personally fight for? Is there something you believe that isn't fought for enough? Personally, I fight for realization. To show the people of this country that it is going down hill fast due to multinational and multiculturalism. To see that our folk are being taken advantage of by the government and by the Jewish laws. Do you feel strongly about the religion of our ancestors? How big of a role has Christianity played in the demise of Pganism from the common person's mind? Christianity and even Satanism have ruined Paganism. In the fact that they have both stolen rituals and symbols and used them as their own. The common person's view may not be the same, though, as it is a Christian community we live in. If possible, living or dead, who would you choose to meet? Why this person? I would like to meet David Lane. His articles have given me motivation and drive to pursue what I believe and live by. Who do you feel today has the black metal torch? Tough question! There are many bands out there that deserve this honor. I would like to take the time to list 5 bands that deserve this title: Pantheon, Temnozor, Wulfhere, Kroda, and Fullmoon. Fullmoon especially because they were the first band to come forth with the term "NSBM" with their demo "United Aryan Evil." To you Wehrwolf, what is most important in life? Love. Being surrounded by the people I love. My family, my friends, my girlfriend, especially. She is what motivates me to persevere. Even if everything isn't the way I'd like it to be. What is most important to Wulf Kry? The music. Rather than reading the lyrics and trying to interpret what they mean, listen to the song. It will say a lot more about us and our ideals than the lyrics will. Musically, do you see Wulf Kry evolving greatly in th future? Musically,. maybe. I see myself evolving into a stronger person and I hope my musical ability strengthens with me. Is there anything that you have still not found the answer to? Why all great things must come to an end. I have never been able to answer why that is. Please, your final words of wisdom to your allies, enemies, and any other words you feel need to be said. To my comrades, stay strong! For I shall be next to you at the forefront of the fight where we will stand proud. To my enemies, traitors, and the people who work against the movement: you shall be cast down upon without mercy nor hesitation. We shall not surrender. We will spill ourown blood before we stand down. I would also like to take the time to thank Daedra for this interview on such short notice. And I would also like to thank my friends and band members who have stuck by me. 14/88! |
