This I Promise You Chapter 15
			"If He Ever..."
	Toni walked along the mall, looking at the shops and their window displays. She had nothing to do that day, so she decided to go out instead of being cooped up all alone in the house. Mark and the other Westlife lads had to do promotions for the whole week, and someone temporarily took over Toni’s job as Westlife’s plugger and publicist. It was doctor’s orders for her to take a week off, since she fainted a few days ago while working. The doctor said she lacked sleep and was exhausted from travelling along with the band.       Toni went into a coffee shop and sat down for a while, resting her legs. She sat back and sipped her iced coffee, contently watching the people who were walking by. A certain couple in the coffee shop caught her eye, and she watched them discreetly. She secretly envied them as she saw them feeding each other pastries and generally being sweet toward each other. Toni suddenly thought of what Mark could be doing at the very moment.       She continued to watch them as inconspicuously as possible. She knew it was rude to be watching other people or staring at them, but she couldn’t help it. They just made such a cute couple!       The girl was busy looking for something in her bag when another woman with such a short skirt came in the shop. Much to Toni’s disgust, the guy she was watching was practically gawking at the other woman. To make it worse, he was making eyes at her. Toni suddenly saw him wink at the woman with the short skirt, and the woman smiled back flirtatiously. It was so annoying! She wanted to march right up to the guy’s girlfriend and tell her what she had just witnessed but Toni knew that it was none of her business. Mark suddenly flashed into her mind and she quickly erased the thought that she just had about him. ‘Mark, you better not flirt with any other girl or I swear I’ll never talk to you again!’ Toni muttered as she headed out of the café.
