you’d come ‘til later, not that I mind though.” He gave me
a kiss on the cheek, but he immediately realized that something was wrong.
“Bry, we need to talk, there’s something I have to tell
you…” I looked at him and watched his face drop.
“No! I know that look”, he said as he looked me in the
eyes, “I remember that look very clearly and I don’t like
it… Don’t do this to me again, Heléna, don’t ask me to
walk out of your life. Cos I know I’m not strong enough to
go through that again.” I moved closer to him and gave
him a hug. How do I explain this without him thinking that
I wanna break up with him? I pulled away and cleared my throat,
“Let’s sit down…” We went to his room and sat down on
his bed, like we always did when we needed to talk
about something. He took my hands and I started telling
him about what had happened with the hotel. As I told
him I could see that he looked concerned cos he knew
how much I loved my job, but also he got this twinkle of
hope and happiness in his eyes.
“I’m really sorry sweetie, I know how much you loved that
job. But I would be lying if I didn’t say that I’m happy
about it as well…” I knew what he was going to ask next
and I also knew that he expected me to say ‘yes’. But I
couldn’t… I needed to go home to Sweden.
“Bryan”, I softly said as I snuggled up against him, “you
know I love you and that I want us to be together forever,
but I can’t come with you to Dublin. I have to go back
home…” I waited for his reaction and for some reason I
thought he would get mad at me for not wanting to go with him, but I was wrong,
“It’s up to you sweetie, if you don’t want to, I won’t force
you. I understand that you really miss your family and that
you wanna see them.” “It’s not that I don’t wanna come with you, cos believe
me, I do. I wanna spend every moment with you, but still I
don’t think I’m ready to face all your fans over there…”
“You’re still bothered about that, huh?” I nodded and leaned against him.
“I just need some time…”
“God”, he said and held me tight, “I’m gonna miss you so
much. But I understand, you take the time you need, but
that won’t keep me from calling you every day and come
visit when I have some days off!”
“You better”, I smiled at him and gave him a soft kiss,
“Thank you for understanding. I love you so much.” “I love you too, Heléna.”
“Well, I’d better go get ready for tonight.” I said as I got
up from the bed. He followed me to the door,
“I’ll see ya later”, he gave me a kiss on the cheek and
closed the door behind me. The nine of us had decided
to check out this new club and we were all ready to party
like never before, but something inside of me told me
not to go. It gave me this feeling that something bad was
gonna happen, but I ignored it and went home to get
ready for a great night out.
