NEWS

From 24 March to 15 July 2006
15 July 2006.  The website was offline for a few hours earlier today.  I don't know what caused it but 30 minutes after I logged a call it was fixed.  Apologies to all those who tried before 1pm EST today.

************
6 July 2006.  I've put a third blog subject on the
blog page.  I've also put the June stats up on the booklist page.  Little change in the top 5, with only Warlord replacing Gideon in 5th spot.

************
3 July 2006.  The 30% discount period for Books in Motion has now ended.  Glad to see some of you took advantage of the offer to buy Casca audio books.

************
29 June 2006.  I've opened a
Casca blog page so everyone can discuss anything they like on Casca.  I'll keep a regular check on it and reply to all entries.

************
23 June 2006.  After my nice little break I return to find Books in Motion are offering a 30% discount to you fans who access their site through this website.  Go to the
book page and click on the books in motion link on the right.

************
2 June 2006.  It's Holiday Time!  I'm off on my summer break for 2 weeks, so any news or emails will have to wait until my return on the 17th.

************
1 June 2006.  I have been delighted by the number of hits on the website.  Normally there's about 250-280, but this month surpassed 450, easily beating the previous 'record' of 293.  Hopefully this trend will continue and show that Casca is as popular as ever.

*************
23 May 2006.  This month is going to be the best ever for visits to this website.  Already the total visits has surpassed any other since this website's creation in March 2000.  Its also not too late to
register your preference for future Casca novels.  So far it seems the US Civil War, Napoleonic, American revolutionary and future periods are what people would like to see.

*************
19 May 2006.  BREAKING NEWS.  The new book will be titled Casca: Halls of Montezuma and will be on release around October this year.  It covers the American-Mexican war of 1846-7.  Watch this space for more news on the release date.

*************
9 May 2006.  I hope to be able to bring news in the next couple of weeks about a film deal loosely connected with Casca, and the latest on the projected new book.

*************
26 April 2006. I've added on the booklist page links to some Casca books I'm selling on ebay.  I do have more which will be on sale over the next few weeks.

*************
20 April 2006.  Already had a few of you send in your suggestions for a new Casca novel time period.  One or two interesting suggestions amongst them.

*************
16 April 2006.  With the news a new Casca book is due out later this year (due Sept/Oct), I wonder what you Casca fans out there would like to see as a new Casca novel?  Drop me a line at
tonyrobertsbristol@yahoo.co.uk and let me know.  I'll collate the results and post them on this page in about 6 weeks time.

*************
1 April 2006.  Once again we've had a record month for visits to the website.  Casca is as popular as it ever has been, at least since 2000 when this website was set up.

*************
27 March 2006.  Breaking news; there will be a new Casca novel released later this year, probably in September/October.  Its currently in the editing process.  More news on this as and when its available.

*************
24 March 2006. A new news page, and an invite to look at the new stats on the
booklist page.  Eternal Mercenary is still the most popular book page visited with the two Paul Dengelegi stories 2 and 3.  I've also created a new page for the Timeline, acting as an index for the 14 different time periods.
