| Recently I just learned that there are 8 different learning styles. They are Linguistic, Logical, Spatial, Musical, Bodily, Naturalistic, Interpersonal, and Intrapersonal. Just because I was so curious I took a test to see what type of learner I am. I thought that I would be a logical and spacial learner. After I took the test I was proved right. I was also surprised how low I scored on the music part. I was so shocked because I am always humming songs and remember the words to theml. So I have yet to answer the questions, who is Tony Macie. I would describe myself as a hard working when motivated and this may shock some people but somewhat of an intelligent person. What I do with my time consist of working on my car (when not working). After I finish my engine in my car I will no everything about the VW GTI. I also would consider myself easy to get along with. Enough said about me, let's talk about the 8 different ways of learning. The first one is Linguistic. This is reading and writting. This is my least favorite things to do. So there is no surprise that I scored so low on that. A liguistic learner is very good at memorizing things and spelling. The next way of learning is logical. This way of learning involves experiments and and trys to figure out how things work. Also logical learners are very good problem solvers. I knew this was my strong point and was not surprised that this is what i scored highest on. A spatial learner likes to draw things and daydream. We think very visually and see images clearly in their hear. We love to imagine things. A musical learner which I am not likes to sing and play an instrument. I was surprised that I did not score higher on this due to the fact that i hum and whistle songs all the time. A bodily learner likes to do things hands on. I learn best this way so was not surprised when I scored so high on this. Also these learners like sports and are usually very active. A naturalistic learner likes the outdoors. I like the outside when it is warm out (camping and fishing) and hunting in the fall and winter. These learners are best at catogarizing things and organizing a living area. One of the last ways of learning is the interpersonal. These people are very outgoing and easy to get along with. They like sharing and avoiding conflict. The last way of learning is intrapersonal which is the person who likes to be alone. They are goal orientend and uderstand themself very well. They also best by working alone. |
