ALL ABOUT TONY FRONT      TO BACK PAIGE
Tony  grew up in Huntington, Long Island and graduated from John Glenn High School in East Northport in 1983.  After four years, give or take a semester, at SUNY Oswego receiving his BA in Communications, (he picked a major where you can party virtually every night and still get by)  he graduated and worked in NYC as a laboror for a construction company (the money was hard to turn down).  His first radio gig was in Southampton at 95.3 WHFM, which is when he moved to Hampton Bays and lived for 5 years.  After doing the afternoon show and performing production duties for "The East Ends Best Music" from 90-92, he worked at WBAB from 92-98 and spent some weekends in New Jersey at 105.5 WDHA. From the middle of 98 through part of 99, Tony spent time with Metro traffic writing and reporting traffic for various Long Island Radio Stations, The Traffic and Weather Channel  and News 12 (you might have seen him on News 12's morning show standing in front of that map and pointing at roads). Wow, was that exciting?!  The call came fron WRCN in January of 99, when he started working weekends, and then eventually became Production Director and Afternoon DJ.  Now, Tony is the Program Director and you can hear him  weekday Mornings from 6 to 10am on 103.9 WRCN, Long Island,  playing the Classic Rock he loves (but not the only music he loves).  Now, you are up to date, but of course, the saga continues.......
