One of the event that I really enjoyed on my first trip to Europe was Running of the Bulls in Pamplona. And I had to go there again. I wasn't there to run with the bulls, I was there to drink like a bull. The second festival I was really interested in was Oktoberfest in Munich. I thought that would've been a hell of a party, instead it turn into a big disappointment. The festival ran with German precision, without any passions at all. There was total madness and mayhem in Pamplona. In Munich, there was the beer tent and thats about it. You can act a bit silly inside the beer tent. But other than that, everything was business as usual. There was another event that I went to. It was the big tomato fight somewhere in Spain(can't quite remember). I think the festival was called "La Tamatina". But it was way too short, lasted only a few hours. But it was fun, it's something you have to experience.

But after about 3 months in Europe, I was getting tired of it. My Eurail Pass was finished while I was in Berlin. I decided to hitch a ride to Belgium, so that I can take the ferry to England. Then in London, I would buy a cheap flight somewhere.

The very first person that picked up me told me that he can get me a job in Munich. Why not, so I went for it. After 2 months working in Munich, it was time to go again. It was time to hitch from Munich to Belgium again. I got as far as Stuggart the first day.  Checked into the Youth Hostel. Just as I was going out for a meal in the evening, I ran into another friend that I made while I was in Barcelona. He was going to Pamplona with a bunch of friends and I was going there with other friends. After we arrived in Pamplona, I never saw him again till now. He convinced me to stay in Germany because he said he could get me a very high paying job. The job was not available yet. So, I went back to Munich to work. One month after I went to the other much higer paying job. The money was so good that I worked in Germany for nearly 2 years. I took long stretches of holiday while I was working in Germany of course.
