Finally arriving at Nepal. You know what that means, it means I can take a shower. The temperature is quite mild in Nepal and there are water everywhere. It was a complete different story in Tibet. When I was in Llasa, showering was no problem. My next shower was a few days later in Shigatse(second biggest city in Tibet). That was in Sept 24. Then my next shower came on Oct 9. Only about 2 weeks, not too bad. Man that water felt good!! Taking shower is a luxury not every Tibetan can afford. There are not too many trees in Tibet, and whatever woods available are used for cooking. You get hot water in thermos in most hotels, but that's valuable drinking water.  So you just have to suck it up and lived like the locals.

The people in Nepal are just so damn friendly. The food was cheap. Accomadation was cheap. Plus you have some of the highest mountains in the world in such a small country. I had a great time. I would recommend this country to anyone.

One other boo-boo I made was regarding my flight from China to Tibet. I paid lots of money for the flight because I thought I can save some time. I arrived in Nepal in early Oct, which was exactly my plan. Then I proceeded to hang around Kathmandu for close to 3 weeks before I went trekking. If I knew I was going to do that, I would've rode into Tibet from China. But I must admit, for such a big and poluted city, I really like Kathmandu.

  I didn't start trekking till Nov 15.
