With a life-long love of animals, particularly dogs, my family did warn my husband, Anthony, before our wedding that if I asked for another animal to say "no".  Somehow I think he failed, but I'm very grateful that he did.

1993 saw the arrival of our lovely "Angel" Aust. Ch. Tullacrest Lady Oth Nite CD and in 1996 Tookurra Border Collies was founded with the arrival of "Angel's" first litter of puppies.

Our dogs are all very special members of the family and enjoy country life, swimming in the river and are well-known members at our local obedience club.  Over the years they have done many school and nursing home visits - a testament to their wonderful temperaments.

As showdogs the "Tookurra Kids" have done us proud and although limited by distance to the number of shows that we can attend, they have achieved much success.

Although we only have a couple of litters of puppies a year, we aim to breed happy, healthy puppies, that are raised in a loving environment, with every care taken with their early socialization.
