Light-hearted Décima

Fifth grade classroom raised a cheer
Aaron Filkin brought a toad
In the room Miss Jenkins strode
Saw the thing and screamed in fear
Tried to pull the young ones near
"Toads are harmless" they all said
laughing at their teacher's dread
Pointing to warts on her nose
"Twas a toad that gave me those"
All the girls stood up and fled
