| July 27, 2001 Like a plan in photographers' visions A backdrop of hillside and pond Gazebo embraced by an aura With dreams of your new life beyond Your chosen vows spoken in reverance And heard by those gathered around A deer as in synchronized entrance drank from the pool without sound Eyelids held shine from our glistening tears While the ink still lay damp on the script You turned and stepped into your future Within his hand yours silently slipped Inside the lush archway of snow white blooms On a quaint wooden bridge you gave pause memories were captured forever and your union was met with applause Then a melody floated around you as you realized a dream held in the arms of your father precious moments of devoted esteem From the moment you entered this valley Your fantasies came into life You emerged from that valley completed You left from there husband and wife. 7/31/01 |
