The Rainbow Fairy

You'll see her sometimes after rain
She sings with chirps of frogs and birds
She dances where the deer have lain
The wind breathes out her gentle words
She rides the skies on rainbows
Her laughter lures the sun's return
She tickles puddles with her toes
The flowers greet her glad sojourn
The rainbow slowly starts to fade
She blows a kiss and waves her hand
She nods and smiles her accolade
as sighing echoes cross the land
She rides the skies on rainbows
She sleeps on stars with moondust bed
She wakes as rolling thunder grows
as dreams of wind songs fill her head.
