So, I drove my ass to New Orleans with ric and nick to see those fucking bastards less than jake. we got there early so we walked around. we ran into this bum in wendys and i had an op ivy shirt on and he sang his cover of "yelling in my ear" for ric's last 3 french frys. that guy kicked ass. then, we went to the show. i walked in and my jaw hit the floor. i suddenly noticed i was 10 years older than everyone else there. thats right kids, the avg. age was like 12 at this show. i couldnt believe it. so cruiserweight came out and sucked dick. they were that stuff that people call emo these days. they were totally lame but the kids still moshed to their shit. then, whippersnapper came out. they were textbook pop punk. they got old really fast. then, recover came out and they looked like saves the day. i was so fucking pissed, until they started up. they were like some old school emo. lots of bitching, yelling, and screaming. it totally wasnt my scene but they were 20 times better than i thought they were gonna be, and they had a lot of originality. finally, ltj started up. the theme of the night was the emergency broadcasting system. they had like tvs and played stuff on it. yay! they came out with automatic and finished up with all my best friends are metalheads. they played a decent mix of their stuff and even played 3 new songs. all in all, it was a good night. i got the new ltj 7 so i was happy. and we lived happily ever after.
