Yeah, I know, the show took place almost a month ago. Sorry. I've been very busy lately. Anyways here's what all happened: We get to the show(late I might add cause we spent too much time eating lunch) and Ozma is already playing. We missed over half their set which is just as well I guess because they suck live. Why they were voted onto the tour is a mystery, maybe everyone wanted weezer to play two sets, I dunno. Anyways I heard Ozma play Rocks, Battlescars, and something else that I can't remember. During this time we were in the lobby waiting for Ozma to hurry up and finish so the Get Up Kids could play. While there we had to hang out with all the nice weezer fans. Below is a crude representation i made of someone at the concert although let it be noted that 50% of them had sweaters on even though it was very hot inside.

Well, getting back on track, we got to listen to some shitty music while waiting for the Get Up Kids to set up, I guess the music sucked cause we were in Georgia and they thought we liked southern rock. The Get Up Kids took the stage and pounded through their set. I don't listen to the Get Up Kids and I didn't know any of the songs so of course I didn't really enjoy it that much but the people who did seemed to be having lots of fun.
After that we had to wait for weezer. While the Get Up Kids were playing the barrier was broken. While we were waiting some bald dude was trying to fix it. He told us to take a step back so they could fix the barrier. Billy then raised his hand and yelled ***k you(hey this is a famly mag). The people around us laughed and thought it was funny although some did not. He asked us again and Billy said, "***k you baldy!". That man felt bad for the rest of the night. From then on when he asked everyone around us told him the same thing.
When weezer took the stage everyone rushed forward and i was pressed up against a half- japanese girl. There were two basketball goals on stage. At first it was just Rivers on stage. He was playing some crappy song on the piano. I was pissed. Then the rest of the band came on and the opened with "My name is Jonas". Everyone just went crazy and i lost my shoe. I found it 3 songs later and I am glad too cause it was my favorite shoe. Weezer had a strong show. They played all of my favorites. The sounded great. they are really good live sounding just like the albums except much louder. The only weak link in the show was when they played 3 new songs. I had only heard one of them before and no one really knew the words. Most of the songs were from the first album which is too bad cause I liked Pinkerton better. I really wanted to hear No othe one but they did play why bother, so it's ok. They finshed it up with surfwax america and some confetti fell in my face. Thats about it for the show. But the ride home was also a treat, Billy got half way home and started falling asleep so we spent the night with some truckers.
