Rules and Regulations
Topton Memorial Day Round Robin Tournament
General Information
- All teams shall use their regular season roster (NO PICK-UP PLAYERS)
- Warm-up prior to a game shall be taken anywhere outside the playing field
fence.
- No infield or outfield except prior to the 1st game of the day.
- Games will start 10 minutes after the previous game is completed
- Coin toss will take place during the 5th inning of the preceding game
- Home Team -------3rd Base dugout
Visitors Team -----1st Base dugout
- Line-up cards are to be completed and given to the official scorer before
the end of the preceding game
- The ASA run ahead rule will be in affect.
- The tie-breaker rule will be in effect after 7 complete innings for all games except the
Championship game
- Ground rules for each of the fields will be the usual ground rules of the
field and will be specified at the start of the first game by the umpires
- Players not wearing proper team uniforms with numbers will not be allowed
to participate, coaches much also be properly dressed in team colors.
- The following criteria will be used to determine the order of finish for
the playoffs.
A. Best Record
B. Head to Head Competition
C. Most Runs Scored
D. Least Runs Given Up
- There are NO courtesy runners!
- The ASA Rules will govern anything NOT included above.
