Wenn man sich dieses Hardcover-Artbook so ansieht, würden sich die meisten sicherlich fragen, warum es so teuer ist. Es ist sehr klein (22 x 10 cm), hat allerdings einen weichen, dunkelroten Umschlag aus Samt, mit einem Plastikumschlag, um zu verhindern, dass Schmutz an den Samt gelangt. Der Druck auf dickem Papier ist exzellent, dass Akemi Takadas Artwork gut zur Geltung bringt. Auf 178 Farbseiten findet man traumhaft schöne Pastellkreide-Illustrationen zu der Protagonistin aus „Kimagure Orange Road“, die teilweise diverse CD, DVD, VHS und LD Cover zieren. Jedoch sind die Bilder einfach zu klein! DIN 4 wäre hier einfach Pflicht gewesen...
Looking at this hardcover Artbook most would probably wonder why it's so expensive. It's small in size (187 x 217mm) but comes presented in a soft velvety dark red hard back cover, with a plastic wrap around over this to stop the velvet plush from getting dirty. The print quality is excellent on thick stock paper which shows off Akemi Takada's artwork well. On 178 color pages you’ll find beautiful illustrations, drawn with pastel chalk, of the heroin from “Kimagure Orange Road”, which can be found on several CD, DVD, VHS and LD cover. Yet, the pictures simply are too small! A regular size would have been a must…
