There are 6 parts of the White Tail Award Program:
As a Beaver meets a requirement for a section, it is initialed by one of the leaders.
The purpose of this award is for the Beavers to have fun and learn about getting awarded for their accomplishments. The tasks set out in this award program are designed to be at their level of expertise. To complete a task, it does not have to be done perfectly, however the Beaver must have tried to the best of their ability to complete the task.
Do 4 of the following:
Bring a game idea to a Beaver meeting, and lead the Beavers in the game | |
Lead the Colony in a song. | |
Help the leaders plan an activity that the Colony will do at a meeting | |
Take part in a Beaver camp or sleep over | |
Practice a skit and present it to the Colony. |

Do 4 of the following:
Help a parent with a chore around the house. | |
Be responsible for taking care of a pet, taking out the garbage, or another regular responsibility around the house, for a month. | |
Help take attendance at 2 meetings | |
Help the leaders with a game. | |
Learn how to take a phone message, and to call 9-1-1. | |
Discuss with a leader ways to help at home and in the neighbourhood. |

Attend church / Sunday school with your family. | |
Discuss holidays from different faiths, with your leader at a meeting. | |
Lead closing prayer at a meeting. | |

Clean up around the meeting area (example, spring garbage pick-up). | |
Go on a nature hike with the Colony. | |

Describe to a leader 6 Canadian animals of the forest. Tell a little about each one. | |
Participate in tree planting such as ScouTrees. | |
Take part in an outdoor activity with the Colony (other than a nature hike). |
