More fall 2007 election-related items in the Toronto Star newspaper: article about Sharon's (see above photo) "access statement"
at Leaside High School, Oct. 1st.  (The debate, at the school, which had featured John Tory, had taken place on Sunday Sept. 30)
In the end we did not get further notes on the events of Wed. Sept. 26, 2007. Note that Wheel-Trans was down the day of the rally -- they were allowing emergency medical trips only.  This one fact probably had a greater effect on the turnout than anything else that day. Note too that we do have more pictures.

In the first week of October the Toronto Star followed up this picture of Sharon at 900 Bay St. with another one... the second "access denied" picture  was printed TWICE, once very large and
in colour (Mon. Oct. 1st, page A12) where it was the "election campaign snapshot" and once more in black and white (Thurs Oct. 4, page AA7) at the top of the Letters page. There was also a separate news story as noted below.
