| A rare meeting with the minister of health |
| Kathleen Wynne M.P.P. was the host for the evening and discussed ongoing issues related to plans for public education and more efficient initiatives for education budgets. Smitherman encouraged the guests to support Kathleen's campaign for re-election with a rousing speech (we had intended to post an audio file, but we are continuing to have trouble with this, sorry). Smitherman said that Wynne's sensitivity to the array of groups and cultures in her riding has allowed her a more substantial, and realistic view of the needs of her constituents.
