From One Couple To The Other

Part 8

"You don't know what you're talking about!" Die was really
pissed off and it scaring Shinya, even if he would never admit it out
loud. Every time Die would hit the wall with his left hand, the
little drummer would close his eyes in fear...in fear of being hit
afterwards, even if he knew Die would never dare to touch him. Fear
overwhelmed him, he got raped for god's sake! And now this...he
couldn't take it. Why would it end up like scrambled eggs when Shinya
would try to fall in love. Every chance he had was a disaster, even
with the one he loved the most. The one he did unbelievable things
for.
Tears streaming down his face, the young man couldn't look up. He
couldn't hear anything, he didn't want to hear anything. Die was just
plain mean to him. He's just mean, he's just mean, he's just mean...
Don't fall for him, stop your heart from running away each time he
smiles at you. Besides, he always says something hurting afterwards.
He doesn't deserve your kindness, your love. Give it to somebody else!

A cracking noise woke him up from his thoughts. Turning his
head slowly to the left, he saw Die's knuckle that went trough the
wall. "SHINYA LISTEN TO ME!" It really wasn't a joke, Shinya had
never seen Die so angry. The little drummer looked up shyly trying to
dry the tears before, the guitarist didn't have to see him like this.
Give up dummy...he already did!
His eyes...they weren't furious, they were hurt. Hurt so badly it
pierced his heart to look at them. "Die..." The hurt disappeared to
make place to fury. "Don't Die me! Now you're going to listen to me
or else!" Shinya nodded in fear, he couldn't do a thing but listen to
him anyway. "You NEVER got raped dammit! I rescued you in time so
stop acting like the victim for nothing! Quit being cold for I don't
know what reason or what ever! It makes the others feel bad, they
were worried about you. Especially Toshiya whom you seem to hate so
much these days."

It hit him like a slap, he had no clue. Die had no clue what so
ever...

The young man shook his head. No matter how much he tried, it
kept coming back, yesterday's afternoon memory... It was horrible
like all the rest of his life, and he had a feeling it would get
worse if he walked in the studio. A chill ran down his spine when he
opened the door.
Almost everybody was there, only Die was missing. Maybe it was for
the best, or not. Kaoru and Toshiya were talking to each other,
Toshiya was blushing. Shinya noticed a daisy in his shirt's pocket,
where'd that come from? He looked away, sure be happy without me if
you want. He sat behind his drums and lift his head when Kyo came up
to talk to him. "Ohayou Shin-chan. Ano... daijoubu? Are you sure you
shouldn't stay home? I mean, you were out of it for almost two days.
It's not that I'm not happy you're back among us but..." The little
man smiled cutely, it was weird...especially with his red contact
lenses. Shinya sweat dropped and chuckled. "Don't worry about me, I'm
fine." He almost fell down his chair when Kyo started running around
the studio yelling "Shin-chan laughed! Shin-chan laughed!" (Kawaii!!
>D)

The couple looked up at him and finally noticed the young
drummer. Toshiya's face lit up as he almost pushed Kaoru to go see
Shinya and hug him. "Oh Shin-chan Shin-chan! You're ok! I'm so happy
I'm so happy you're alright!" As strange as it seemed to the young
drummer, Toshiya started to cry in happiness. That's when Die decided
to make his appearance. He looked fine. No fury, no hurt in his eyes,
only the playful spark he always had. He walked up to the both of
them and patted Toshiya on the head. Toshiya giggled and went back to
Kaoru happily.
He never talked, never said anything to Shinya, he only smiled before
they went on with practice. Atleast, he was happy.

It was so frustrating, so frustrating! He didn't talk, not
even to Kyo not even to Toshiya! Toshiya was his best buddy, why
didn't even say a word to him? Of course, Kaoru was keeping him
from
doing anything but he still had the chance to talk to them and Kyo
was always free! Shinya wasn't even sure he was still alive.
He knew that he had been a jerk and all, that he didn't have the
right to be so selfish, but it wasn't a good reason! Who was he
kidding, Die had to right to do what he wanted to do. He could have
anybody as he wanted as his girlfriend or boyfriend. Shinya
didn't
have to get so mad every time. It's jealousy. He didn't have
to sulk
each time Die would smile to Toshiya and not to him. Besides, when he
did smile to him, he would tease him afterwards. Why did he want that
to happy? He didn't like it! It's jealousy! That little
tease, it was
nothing. Like the punch of a baby that only tickled. But it did hurt,
especially when Toshiya laughed with him. Was he so sensitive he
couldn't handle it? IT'S JEALOUSY! Of course he was jealous.
He was
in love with him after all!
In fact, when he realised he was going to get raped the only thought
he got was that his first kiss should belong to Die and nobody else.
He locked himself up so the man would just go away and leave him be
because he was not even trying to get away.

When Kaoru finally decided it was time to take a break,
Shinya was exhausted. He was concentrating too much on his problems
and less on his drums. That was fatal for his playing, especially in
practice. They had to get it right or else they would do it over and
over again. He didn't want that to happen. Even if he was lucky
because Kaoru was so out of it.
He heard laughing. Kaoru and Toshiya were having fun again.

"You know Die, they haven't said they loved each other
but...I think they're finally going to be happy after all."
Die
laughed. "So what about you? Did something happen?" The
guitarist
went silent, he wasn't going to talk. But wasn't Kyo the best
to get
answers from him? He was the perfect friend Die could get, why
wouldn't he talk? Laughing didn't solve anything, he had to
say
something. But he never did.
Shinya stood up, there was nothing he could do about it, maybe he
should get a cup of coffee and get out. He sighed, moving seemed so
hard. He looked down to his drums. It was all their fault, if he
wasn't so good with those nothing would have happened. It
wasn't
true, Shinya knew that, but blaming the furniture was so much easier.
With all the rage and madness he always had in him, the young drummer
smashed to pieces the drums with only one hit.

Walking out of the room with a smile on his face, he was
talking to himself quite normally. "Well that felt very
good." And
closed the door quietly behind him.
Everybody was shocked, Toshiya was in Kaoru's arms, Kyo had
dropped
the glass of water in had and Die almost ripped his goggles off his
head.
*************

Not bothered by the chilly wind that kept blowing outside,
Shinya was sitting in front of the door of the studio drinking his
cup of coffee. Not thinking about anything, he was just drinking
mechanically his coffee. Not hearing anything nor even tasting the
coffee in his mouth that was hotter then it usually was. He kept
drinking and drinking and never turned around to look at the person
that sat beside him.
He didn't budge when the person put his hand on his shoulder and
shook him slightly.

Now he was getting worried. Shinya hadn't responded to his
voice and wasn't moving a muscle...except when he was drinking
his
fuming coffee. Die stood up and kneeled in front of his young
friend. "Shin-chan? Shin-chan!? SHIN-CHAN WAKE UP!" Nothing,
not even
a twitch. Biting his bottom lip, the red head didn't know what to
do.
What if he was out of it again? He didn't want that to happen
again.
Taking the cup of coffee from Shinya's hand...well, he actually
tried
to take it away. But Shinya was so strong, he wasn't able to let
him
go. He wanted to keep the cup and Die was not going to have it no
matter what. Tired of playing "you're not going to win
because I'm
the strongest" with the poor little cup that was starting the
emptying itself because of the fight, Shinya crushed it with both his
hands.

"Itai..." He looked down. "My coffee." He looked up.
"Oh Die,
ohayou." He threw the busted cup away and stoop up opening the
building's door. He was stopped by Die's hand who held him
back
outside. "Die, it's cold let me go inside!" Die, using
all the
strength he had, pulled the young drummer outside again. "Please
Shin-
chan, I have to tell you something very important."
He turned around and looked expressionless at Die. "I'm sure
it's not
as important as my health, let me go inside Die."
Pulling him close, Die hugged him tight not letting him any space to
be able to get away or even move. "DIE LET GO OF ME!"

Oh my god, oh my god! Why did he do that? What was he
thinking? Sensing the heat rising on his face, the drummer
couldn't
bare it. Make it so he won't look at me, please make it so he
will
just let go and go inside. He'll understand if he sees me red
like
this, he'll make fun of me. God help me!
Struggling to get loose, Shinya tried to push Die away. He had to get
away, anything so Die wouldn't see him like this. "What are
you doing
you idiot?! Let go of me this instant!" Die would never let go,
his
arms were like ropes around Shinya's waste and they would not
brake.
Resting his head on the drummer's shoulder, the red head sighed.
Shinya had stopped struggling but was now breathing heavily. What was
he going to do?

"Shin-chan I'm so sorry I was so mean to you yester..."
Die
never thought he would try to get away again as Shinya pushed he
slightly away and looked at him seriously. There was a faint shade of
red on his cheeks. "You're not serious again Die. I deserved
it,
don't apologise it's fine by me you finally scolded me.
Somebody had
to put some sense in that thick head of mine." Die still had his
arms
around Shinya's waste and realised he didn't even try to pull
away.
Even better, Shinya embraced him gently pulling him close. He could
hear him faintly as he started to cry on his shoulder.
"Die, I love you..."

The red head started to chuckle as he held the little drummer
tighter. He caressed his hair sweetly smiling to himself. "So do
I
Shin-chan, so do I..."
***********

He couldn't take it, but he had to. It was over. He had lost,
he never thought he would never win but he still kept a little faith
in his heart. Hidden in the back of everything else...what if...? He
never knew.
Kyo's heart squeezed even more when he saw the new couple hug.
They
looked so sweet but he still had lost Die to Shinya. Of course, Die
would never know the feelings he had for him, nobody knew...and it
was better like that. That way, the others would stop fighting ever
his foolish feelings. A knife twisted in his heart when Die kissed
Shinya, he turned away and looked down in the machine. He picked up
the can of soft drink he had just bought and turned around. It was
better that way...

Walking slowly back to where Kaoru and Toshiya were laughing
while throwing away the dead body of Shinya's drum, Kyo sighed.
He
never really kept up with the other's after all. The only thing
he
could do was occupy himself with something else, there weren't
millions of ways to make him uncute, but he still tried. Besides, he
liked his contact lenses a lot.

Taking a sip from his can turned the corner of the small
corridor and slammed into somebody or something barely catching his
drink. Looking up pissed off he was about to yell to whom ever he had
bumped into, but stopped himself.
The little person in front of him was his complete opposite, somebody
who was trying to be cute and did very well.
He was the most adorable thing the little singer had ever seen.

Well that's it. Tell me what you think. Am I good enough to do
another one? 'Cause I've got an idea for a Malice Mizer fic. :\
