Cathy Quick Curl has the same face as Baby Small Talk, only she's bigger & you can style her hair with a "magic wand." Her hair has very fine copper wires that allow you to get a "quick curl." And you guessed it! She's not easy to find either. |

Baby Skates can skate all day with a couple of quick turns of her know...Wait is that a Jheri curl she's sporting? After all, she was made in the 1980's! |

Chatty Cathy - I have edition #4 with the so-called hard face! She's wearing the blue party dress. This version said 18 phrases with a tug on her pull string like "let's have a party," "let's play school," "I love you" and "I'm so tired." She also has the harder to find open right hand (as opposed to the pointing index finger) and the longer pageboy hairstyle. I didn't think that Cathy was cute at first and she had to grow on me, but I really enjoy her now. In my younger days, I was accused of being a Chatty Cathy on many occasions! |

Chatty Baby wears her red pinafore and white romper. She was the younger sister to Chatty Cathy and spoke 11 phrases. Mine is mute - for the moment. I may get her talker repaired one day. Her limbs are bigger than Cathy's and she's almost as tall as her big sister! |
