Moist Banana Bread
1 cup Sugar
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 egg
1/4 cup oil
3 ripe bananas, well mashed

Preheat oven 350f degrees

1) Combine all dry ingredients together and set aside for the moment.
2) Whisk together egg & oil.  Add to dry ingredients.
3) Take the mashed bananas and add to the mixture above.  Mix all together.
4) Place in loaf pan that has been greased or sprayed with vegetable spray.
5) Bake at 350F degrees for 1 hour.  Allow to cool on rack before serviing
Grandma's Cornbread
3/4 cup corn meal
3/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 tablespoons honey
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup margarine

Preheat oven 425f degrees

1) Combine all dry ingredients together first. 
2) Add egg, milk and margarine.  Beat only until smooth.  Very important not to over beat!
3) Pour batter into a small greased pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.
4) Slice and serve while still warm.
Strawberry Nut Bread
1 1/2 cups mashed Strawberries
1 egg
3 tablespoons melted shortening
2 cup flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven 350f degrees

1) Beat egg with strawberries & shortening.
2) Sift all dry ingredients into the strawberry mixture and stir until just moistened.
3) Add chopped nuts
4) Turn into a greased loaf pan and bake 50-60 minutes.
5) Allow to cool 10 minutes before putting on to rack to cool completely.
