| A Prayer Lord, Thank You for these dirty dishes, For we had food to eat. Thank You for the unmade bed, It means we had somewhere to sleep. Thank You for this heap of soiled laundry, It means we have clothes to wear. Thank You for this oven that needs to be cleaned, For we have baked many goodies. Thank for this fridge that needs organizing, for it is you that has filled it graciously. Thank you for the slamming doors, For my kids are heathly and can run and play Thank you for the TV on load and the stero blasting, It means we have entertainment. Thank you for the pets we have It means we have companionship. Thank you for the phone always ringing It means we have people who care. Thank you for heat on summer days and cold in winter days It means we have a world to enjoy I say Thank You for all these things and more Dear Lord May you bless My family and friends with all the blessings you have enriched in me. Amen |
