Snowflake Magnet

Materials:

Worsted weight yarn:

1 skein Caron Christmas Glitter (white)

Crochet Hook Size F (3.75mm)

Magnet (optional)

Ribbon (optional)

Hairspray or Liquid Stiffener

Snowflake:

Rnd 1: Ch 4, dc in 4th ch from hk, ch 2, (2 dc, ch 2) 5 times in same st; join with a sl st to top of 1st ch 4. (6 groups of dc)

Rnd 2: Ch 6, sc in same st, ch 7, sl st in 3rd ch from hk, (ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hk) twice, ch 4, sc in next dc, ch 3, dc in same dc; * dc in next dc, ch 3, sc in same st, ch 7, sl st in 3rd ch from hk, (ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hk) twice, ch 4, sc in next dc, ch 3, dc in same dc; rep from * around; join with a sl st to 3rd ch of first ch 6 loop. Fasten off and secure ends.

Finishing:

Spray with hair spray to set and let dry. For Magnet: Attach magnet to back side.

For Ornament: Attach ribbon for hanging.

For Pin: Attach pin to back of snowflake
