1. Paint the
outside of the flowerpot and the wooden bead with cream-colored acrylic paint.
You may need to apply two or three coats of paint.
2. Using a stiff
paintbrush, stipple the rim of the pot with gold paint (or paint solid gold, if
you wish).
Turn the flowerpot
upside down and, using the glue gun, glue the wooden bead over the drainage
hole of the pot to form the angel's head.
4. Glue some
moss on the wooden bead to create the angel's hair (you can use doll's hair in
place of moss).
5. Using the
black, fine-tip felt marker, draw a face on the angel. See picture above.
Cut a 3"
length of the chenille stem and form it into a circle. Glue it to the top of
the angel's head to make a halo.
7. Using the
1/4" wide gold ribbon, tie a small bow and glue it to the pot just under
the angel's mouth.
8. Form a loop
with the 2" wide wire ribbon, positioning the joint in the middle of the
loop and overlapping the ends slightly. Twist
the ribbon around itself at the joint to form a sort of "bow".
This will form the angel's wings. Glue the wings to the back of the pot.
