Part 5

With a twist of the knob, the door opened. Kaoru smiled and welcomed his guests in. Toshiya skipped in excitedly, exclaiming aloud when the lights came on and he saw Kaoru’s sugoi hi-fi/DVD/TV/etc set. Behind him came in three less enthusiastic men.

“ Please feel at home,” Kaoru said politely.

“ Guh…=0=!” Kyo fell onto the black leather sofa, grabbing a purple cushion to use as his pillow.

“ Waah, let’s watch a movie ne!” Toshiya said.

Shinya plopped himself down on a one seater sofa. “ You still have the mood and energy?” The young man rubbed his right eye with his knuckles.

“ Don’t do that,” Kaoru caught Shinya’s wrist and pulled his hand away from his face. “ You guys want tea?”

Die, Shinya and Toshiya nodded their heads. (Kyo was busy finding comfortable positions on the couch.)

“ Wait. I change my clothes first. Toshiya, the DVDs are in that drawer. Take your pick,” Kaoru said and wandered into his room.

“ Ooo^.^!”Toshiya. “ Come help me choose!”

Shinya: -_-; Any will do.

Die piped up, pushing himself up into standing position. “ I’ll help choose^_^!”

“ Let’s watch a horror film. Off the lights and watch,” Toshiya said. “ This one^^!” He held up a movie but before Die can catch the title, Toshiya whipped out the disc and inserted it into the player.

When Kaoru came out in a T-shirt and boxers, only a bluish light coming from the direction of the living room. He padded outside and found Die, Toshiya and Shinya watching the opening scene attentively. Eerie music emanated from his speakers.

“……BOO!!! ”

“ Waaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”X3

“ Hahahaha!XD!”

“ Kaoru, you jerk!” Toshiya threw a cushion at the laughing man.

“ Oh my God, you guys are giving me headache!” Kyo groaned.

After boiling water and making tea, Kaoru joined them. On the single seater sofa, Shinya was drinking his tea quietly. Die, Toshiya and Kaoru were on the floor with Toshiya in between the other two guys. Every time the scary music played to indicate the scary part coming up, Toshiya pulled his knees closer to himself.

By the second half of the show, Shinya felt his eyelids grow heavy and slowly they drooped down. Toshiya started to doze off during the third quarter of the show. His head fell to his left onto Kaoru’s shoulder. Seeing this, Die glared at the older man.

“ Why, Die-kun?” Kaoru whispered to him innocently. “ Toshiya leaning on the wrong shoulder?”

“ He’s mine.”

Kaoru smirked. “ Not yet.”

Die almost growled. “ I thought you are courting Shinya?!” the redhead hissed.

“ Well, maybe…maybe not. What does it matter to you?” Kaoru did a waving gesture with his hand.

“ You…!!!”

“ I think you’re naïve.” Kaoru laughed. “ So to relieve you, let’s just say I don’t have that much time for romance okay?” Kaoru looked at the TV screen, corners of his lips curved upwards.

Die felt a bit suspicious(as he usually is about Kaoru). But he let the topic rest.

In the middle of the night, one of the five men stirred from his sleep. Groggily, he dragged himself up and went to the toilet. They had all fallen asleep before the end of the movie so the TV was still on. So he switched it off.

Without any source of light except that from the kitchen, it was dark and he stumbled over someone’s leg as he was going to his bedroom. Kaoru took a look and saw Toshiya on the floor with his top body curled up and one leg tucked under the other which was sticking out across the floor.

He squatted down and gazed at the young man. He swept the strands of fine hair behind his ears. Toshiya made a disapproving sound in his sleep. The other man was about to get up and leave him alone but a pair of arms shot out and wrapped around his neck and Toshiya’s soft lips grazed against his.

Still in shock, Kaoru stayed paralyzed in Toshiya’s arms as the still-in-dreamland stripper nuzzled against his neck.

“ Cold…” Toshiya mumbled.

Detaching himself from Toshiya, Kaoru got up, went to his room and took out a spare blanket for Toshiya.

Later, in the middle of the night still, another man got up. This time it was a redhead. Die scratched his messy hair and blinked.

“ Hunghhh~~~!”

Then he blinked again as he realized someone’s face was right in front of his.

Toshiya’s really beautiful… Unconsciously he held his breath as he gazed upon the pretty face.

“ Hn…” Toshiya uttered in his sleep, his lips parting slightly.

Die could smell Toshiya’s perfume from where he lay. The scent and Toshiya’s parted lips tempted him and he inched closer to the younger man. He wondered how Toshiya would taste and a very strong urge to press a kiss against those lips prodded at him.

But his heart was beating so fast as he leaned forward, decreasing the distance between them. Then suddenly he froze.

What am I doing?!! Taking advantage of Toshiya like this!

He could feel Toshiya’s warm breath on his lips.

But just one kiss…one innocent li’l kiss…

He closed his eyes and parted his lips in readiness to kiss Toshiya. But, as fate played out on him, Toshiya turned over and Die found himself looking at the back of Toshiya’s head.

Die: ;_________;!!!!!

While all these happened, there was a light sleeper among them(and it certainly was not Kyo^^;). Shinya heard the toilet flushing and woke up. Then he fell asleep again only to be woken up later by someone’s loud “ Hunghhh~~~”.

And so he saw it all.
