Shoulder serf and log Log of a day in the life of a (good?) open source developer, a log in detail of the development of a piece of software not just how someting was done but the blind allwys invstigated. Is this a good idea, has it been done already, all I can think of is Linus Torvaldus emails 'http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-kernel&w=2&r=1&s=Linus+Torvalds&q=a'

If I did this for me, it would be fairly pathetic, but maybe or minor use to some newbies if I annotated it correctly, maybe if I played it as a video game on line, guess what the developer diod next, go for coffee or tea or water or goto the bog (toilet) would be a good place to put your money.

Some developers do log their activities what is really needed is a log of on screen activity with a reason for why there was no typing for a 5 minute period...

Only useful for newbies or people like myself who only really learn by copying, avtually maybe a commercial developer may be better, as that is where open source will be in 2 years time, more tooling more software more IT support better hardware...

Just an idea, text me if you think this is a good idea or a bad idea (normal rates apply, something like 20 cent..) + 353 86 825 6032
