A year has past since the Remnant Imperial Order began their quest to salvage the lost Empire. At first their cause seemed impossible, but as they gained additional followers great leaders emerged from the Order. These few men have been essential to their campaign.

One of these Great leaders has been Lord Bravo. Lord Bravo has used the most unorthodox military techniques in order to conquer his opponents. With the enemy confused after small frontal attacks he sends his larger and more lethal attacks at their weakest point and at the most unpredictable position. His strategies have achieved several key, and unexpected victories. Tactician RIG has been the leader of the Remnant's raiding parties. His well timed attacks have left the enemies short of weaponry and supplies. Without Rig's ongoing raids and skirmishes the Remnant would have lost many crucial battles by fighting against better equipped opponents. Then there is Count Duckula, whose conservative nature is reflected in his military tactics. Out of all the commanding officers in the Remnant the forces under his command have suffered the fewest casualties. He has maintained the highest kill  and smallest loss ratio. Finally, but not to be forgotten, is Chief Commander Swiftstrike. His style of warfare is the most predictable of all the Remnant leaders since Swiftstrike relies heavily on brute force and raw aggression. It is only fitting that he has in his possession the largest portion of Remnant forces at his disposal. Swiftstrike has fought in the most key battles; some were glorious victories and others were catastrophic losses with high casualties.

Still even with these exceptional leaders the Remnant has yet to launch a full assault. They haven't had the opportunity or the manpower for a movement on such a grand scale...that is until now.
Naipotu, the Empire's fallen capital, has been occupied by a large Norse force since the start of the war. These barbarians have all pledged their allegiance solely to the Norse god of Chaos, Loki. These followers of Loki are the largest organized military force that remains of the Norse culture. Since the war began the Norse people have been engrossed in constant bloodshed, nearly annihilating their entire civilization. For this particular sect to have survived so long with the constant warring and to stay in relative peace amongst themselves is extremely remarkable.

However, the eyes of the Remnant are fixed on the former capital of Naipotu. They have been preparing for this siege since the metropolis was conquered by the barbarians. The Remnant would never have dared to attack the fortified capital even if they outnumbered their enemy. They would only be so lucky since their forces are outnumbered seven Norsemen for every one of theirs.
And yet the entire Remnant army is poised outside Naipotu. Besides possessing superior military leaders and an unyielding determination, the men of the Remnant retain one other advantage over the enemy. The Remnant soldiers are fresh to undergo such a fight. These Norsemen have been in constant battles since the empire's collapse. Their Weaponry has been dulled and their armor has been thinned. They are ill-equipped and their morale has been severely lowered with the unending enemy engagements.

The Remnant knew that this was the only time for them to strike. Before Loki gathered more minions to do his bidding and before the Norsemen had a chance to rest.

The Remnant's forces cast long shadows across the plains that lay in front of the city walls. The Battle horns sound and the Remnant forces began to march toward the massive fortification. This assault would determine the future of the Remnant Imperial Order. The gates to the city opened and an endless wave of bodies poured through the opening. Thousands of men sprinted at full speed towards the Remnant's army. The Norsemen let out a battle cry that echoed across the land as they charged swords drawn at the invaders. The battle fever has engrossed the entire Norse force and their lust for blood must be quenched.

The Remnant forces quicken their charge at the approaching storm. The battle horns sounded one more time and they let out loud cry that was dwarfed by the opposing army's howls. This is it, the fight to determine the future of the Remnant Imperial Order. Let the battle begin.
