A Christians Thoughts on September 11,2001 Attack
It was a great tragedy that occured on September 11, 2001! Many lives were lost. Spouses were widowed and children were orphaned.
God Himself will repay who ever is responsible. And He may chose to use the US as His instrument of revenge!
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Proverbs 11:21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
But there is a problem in America. That problem is sin! America is not at all one nation under God.
We have attempted to fashion a god after our own hearts. A god who tolerates evil. And a god who allows men to make their own rules.
America has excepted perversion such as homosexuality. The Bible condemns homosexuality.
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
The US has murdered millions of innocent children in the name of choice. We have chosen to kill our children.
As a country we have rejected Jesus Christ and therfore have rejected God. For there is no way to salvation but through Jesus. And we have manufactured a weak perverted form of Christianity that is not based on the Bible but on the darkness that is in our hearts.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We have banned any official proclaimation of God in our schools. And now we are trying to remove the 10 commandments from our courts. This country has said, to the TRUE God, "Get out, we do not want you!"
If we do not repent the worse is yet to come. God has protected us for many years. But God is slowly moving His protection from us! As we reject Him, He is rejecting us.
The Bible presents God as love. But it also presents Him as Judge! And as the supreme and righteous judge, He must punish the wicked.
Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
For Christians reading this. (And I mean true born again Bible believing Christians!) We must daily do certain things. We must:
1. Repent of our sins
2. Stand in the gap for the unsaved and for this country
3. Pray for God's protection
4. Pray for those in authority
If you are reading this but you are not saved I have good news and bad news.
The bad news is that you are a sinner by birth and by practice! And this applies to everyone!
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
The bad news gets worse! Because, there is a penalty for sin!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
But there is good news! Jesus died on the cross, was buried and then rose again the third day. And salvation is available through Him.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
And just as the bad news gets worse, the good news gets better. You can have eternal life now! It is not by works but by grace through faith. Simply believe on Jesus and recieve God's free gift!
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
If you would like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior pray this prayer:
Dear God, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that the Lord Jesus has died for my sins on the cross, was buried, and then rose again the third day. God please forgive me for my sins and come into my heart. Thank you Father for saving me.
If you said that prayer and meant it you are now a child of the living and true God!
