| O my God I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell but most of all because they offend Thee my God Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen "As a child I learned the Act Of Contrition as follows I still say it this way today at 51 yrs. old!" O my God I am heartly sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishment but most of all because they offend Thee my God who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen |

He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of the Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen |
