Yamamato Kentaro | ||||||||
Kinkin Juut- | ||||||||
As both an accomplished practitioner of Judo and Sumo forms, Kentaro has begun to branch out into his own style, which he calls Kinkin Juut. It combines the best of both forms, utilizing Sumo’s steady, powerful moves to throw an opponent off track, and then slamming them to the ground with Judo’s deceptive techniques. Kentaro also enjoys grappling with his opponent while they are helpless on the ground, as his incredible weight gives him an advantage in this position. He also prefers to let the enemy come to him and tire themselves out attacking uselessly. He is very much the defensive fighter. | ||||||||
History- | ||||||||
Yamamoto Kentaro was born to poverty in the streets of Japan. Born as the fourth child of an already poor family, Kentaro was neither wanted nor welcome in his own home. The boy often went without food for weeks at a time, shriveling away to nothing. His mother and father could not provide for their last child and decided, in a rare fit of mercy, to send the boy to an orphanage. He languished there in emotional torment for two years, still barely surviving as the orphanage was overcrowded and poor itself. Finally a noble family took pity on this tiny boy and brought him to live with them. Kentaro, overwhelmed by the readily available food, took to gorging himself daily and gained a tremendous amount of weight. His increase in mass gave his foster parents an idea: why not train him to be a sumo wrestler? And so at the age of 9 Kentaro began his training, eating even more than he currently was every day and practicing forms until he had memorized them completely by night. After his studies were complete, he decided to round off his skills by learning judo. Now, at the age of 21, he has been sent to Toudou Academy to train further in preparation for his debut in the intense world of sumo wrestling. The man is driven, ruthless, and not particularly plagued with any moral code. Thus there is nothing to stop his rise to the top. Gambatte, Kentaro! |
