A different style than most, and one Kyo has more or less created himself. As such, it is far from refined. In fact, compared to the aged, continually evolving styles, like various forms of Kung Fu, it may as well be street fighting. But to Kyo it is a style above all other. Attacks in it can be weak, strong, fast, slow, or anything in between. They can even come from other styles. But they must flow. For Kyo to use something like a jab or stomp is practically unheard of. A high point of this style is the ability to chain attacks into one long, graceful attack if the opportunity presents itself, and the fluidity to adapt during said combos, including aborting them. Plus it's a stylish style. |

Kyo is different then most of the people in Toudou. He has no dreary past, no family dilemas, no psychologial urge to kill. He was born into a middle class family, his mother working as a teacher, while his father worked in a Pocky factory. He was an ordinary kid for the most part, slacking in his schoolwork so he could watch anime, or read manga. His fandom took a turn from the norm, however. Instead of becoming one of the brainy otaku, or a fanboy for Megumi Hayashibara, he began to look up to the heros. He looked up to them for their willingness to overcome, for their drive for success, their passion, and not least of all, the way they provided entertainment for millions of kids and adults, in Japan alone. At the young age of eight, he decided to become an actor. However, he decided, what's an actor if he has no specialty, nothing to set him apart from the rest? So even while he studied and looked into theater and drama, he began developing the Grac eful Whirlwind. He practiced it in solitude, until he'd fashioned it into a working, if still crude style, and then tried it on bullies. At least, he did whenever they didn't flee in the face of the raw passion he even still carries from his childhood heroes. Now, he has entered Toudou, for while his acting talent has increased many times, he still wants to forge his style into a respectable one to bring with him to acting. And no matter what dangers, challenges, or rivals he may find, he is determined to prove that, in the end, passion and determination can prevail! |
