Uzinawa Mao | |||||||||
Lotus- | |||||||||
The Body contains tiny gates that rest inside the 'Inner Coils System' (A series of multiple paths that run alongside major arteries - that allow ki to travel through them to different points of the body). Each gate limits the usage of the body to stop extreme strain. They are also working constantly to keep the flow of ki in control. A key part to performing the lotus, is opening these gates. In opening the gate, you can release one of the restraints on your body. The price is your physical health. While you gain a increase for a short time(15 minutes at most), the result on your body can be devastating. Opening all of the gates will result in certain death. (Courtesy of narutochuushin.com ) Mao knows the limits of his strength and the weaknesses of his style. In large battles Mao tends to stay back and watch waiting for his time to jump in. The gates that Mao will open are the Initial, Heal, Life, Wound. And Limit gates. The Initial is easily opened and does not put that great of a strain on the body. Heal Gate recovers the users stamina to prepare him for opening the other gates. The Life gate is the transition from heal to wound and the strain on the body is increasing. The Wound gate is opened and at this time the muscles of the user themselves are starting to break. The Limit gives a final boost of speed and power pushing the muscles beyond their limit. In battle Mao tends to use his speed to his advantage. He usually keeps the initial gate open and strikes quickly and viciously hoping to make the opponent not have enough time to form a formidable counterattack. |

History- | |||||||||
Mao was born and his mother had died in child labor. Mao was taught Lotus by his father. Everyday Mao and his father trained to bring Mao’s stamina up to par. He lived his life with no regrets ,but he wanted more from life he lived for the challenge. Mao knew that he wasn’t the most intelligent person ,but through the intense training and a strong will he surpassed some of the strongest fighters in his village. While training Mao and his dad were assaulted. Their attacks flowed with one another’s each movement complimenting the others. Then they saw him a mammoth of a man. The man and Mao’s father ran at each other and it was soon determined that they were equal in strength. Mao’s father was forced to use the ultimate technique by opening the eighth gate , the death gate. Both combatants were killed in the battle and Mao was ostracized from the village. Mao wandered the Japanese countryside constantly trying to test his limits. He was recruited by a scout and brought to Toudou Academy. |
