Anthy is very mysterious. It is known that she has an older brother, Akio Ohtori, the vice-chairman of Ohtori Academy, who is engaged to Kanae Ohtori, the headmaster's daughter. Nothing is known about her parents. Anthy is the Rose Bride, now engaged to Utena Tenjou, but was once engaged to Kiyouichi Saionji, and very briefly to Touga Kiryuu. She lives in the South Dorm with Utena and her pet/friend Chuchu.
