After becoming a fan last summer '00, with the series being over 10 years old, what shock was it to learn all of my hero's are either forgotten about, or have gotten quite old, fat, dull.. etc. Searchresults fot 'Tony Becker' a.k.a. private Percel, were zip, nada. Eventually I did find a website, with a photo of him ten years after the show... Shock, Horror, AAAARGH!!! The same goes for Terrence Knox and Stephen Caffrey, many years older and getting a bit chubby... But this wasn't the thing that really concerned me, after all it's allready relieving to know there still alive! ;-)

What bothered, and stil bothers me, is that besides some guest appearances, they're never heard of again. With a few exxeptions though. Remember Griner? The cute soldier that went blind at the end of the series? We all know him from the tv-show "Early Edition" in which he is the leading man. I also thought Doc Hock has a quite familiar face, but I haven't figured out where he's famous from. I do know he's made many guestappearances in many TV-series. So did the Sarge and L.T. by the way, in some great modern shows as well, like Lois & Clarke; Pensacola, Wings of gold; The Pretender, E.R. etc. Since I'm still collecting   'evidence', or actors-material, this part of the website is far from complete. But I will add all new information, photo's and actual developments as soon as I find them. Eventually I hope to have a big database on the main Tour of Duty actors, concerning their paste performances, but much more on their current jobs. That way we fans can follow all of them much better than we're able to do now, and they will 'know' we haven't forgotten about their great appearances in ToD 13 years ago.
