Ordre de l'Etoile du Sud, or the Order of the Star of the South, is the highest Araucanian honor. It is reserved for nobles, royals and heads of state. Recipients of this order of knighthood have included President General Dwight D. Eisenhower of the United States and President General Juan Peron of Argentina.Illustrated on the left is the Knight of Justice Badge and on the right is the Breast Star. Both of these decorations are in the collection of the Museum of the Kings of Araucania in Tourtoirac, France.
