Alysia Kiyalien
Alysia was born in Fal Dara in Sheinar. Her father was Senior Captain under Lord Eliandor Jagad, the son of Agelmar Jagad. Although she didn't actively train in the martial arts, that is only common in Saldea, she did pick up a good amount of skill while growing up and even more when she returned in her later years as Aes Sedai.

Her ability to channel came apparent during an assault that penetrated to the keep itself. A fade that had entered the keep on the shadows saw her as a delicious treat but before it could attack her a burst of flame consumed it. Although the girl was shaken and unsure of what had happened, a Lieutenant who had noticed the fade and was coming to intercept saw the exchange and had no doubt as to the source of the flame. Soon her father had arranged for a small escort, two soldiers whom he knew personally, to escort her south through the borderlands and safely to the gates of the White Tower.

She was zealous and eager to learn and subsequently she advanced through the tower relatively quickly. She was a novice for only two and a half years and studied as accepted for almost four before she was raised to the shawl and accepted into the blue ajah.

A little know detail of her past was her true lineage. She was descended from the nation of Malkier. Her great-grandparents had been crafters in the capitol city when the evacuation was called. They made there way to Fal Dara in Sheinar and refused to go any farther. They intended to stay as close to their old homeland as they could. This is what birthed Alysia's great cause. She would fight to avenge her True, in her mind, home nation and to help ensure the preservation of the blightborder. Although some thought she would be more suited to the Green, the current head of the ajah had spoken in depth with Alysia and knew her to be more suited to the Blue.

In her first years as Aes Sedai Alysia traveled the borderlands making connections, evaluating needs and making plans. It was on this journey that she bonded her first warder. Jensilar was a huge bear of a man from Arafel. He was originally just a guide but they created an emotional connection, not romantic but more friend oriented, and she soon bonded him. Three years later the two passed back through Arafel to visit olds friends and they arrived in time to sight a force of trollocs marching on Shol Arbela, the capitol of Arafel. They arrived in time to join in the fighting and Jensilar was killed after being set upon by 6 fades at once while Alysia was separated from him in the pitched battle. There was only one fade there when the breath left his body. Alysia arrived moments too late and annihilated the last fade. She refused to forgive herself for many months and stayed there in the capitol city until she finally came to terms with herself. She returned to the tower and moved on to another chapter of her life in which she became more tower based.

She became more involved in the internal politics of the Tower and found that much of the information she had picked up in her journeys and visits to different courts would serve her well in joining the political intrigue of the tower, though she still had much to learn. Some twelve years later soon after Cabriannae Mikoy was raised to the Amyrlin seat and the former sitter of the Blue retired she was elected to sit in the Hall of the Tower as the representative of the Blue Ajah.
