| Gyldevaradarin Kovam ( Gylde to her family and friends ) was the youngest of eight children of a prosperous Saldaean Lord, who increased his holdings with his production of ice peppers and furs. She was born near the cliffs on the Aryth Ocean known as World's End. She had 6 brothers and one sister. Two of her eldest brothers were killed in skirmishes with Trollocs when she was a child. being the youngest child she was also spoilt by her father, who indulged her every whim. She was sent to the tower after a visiting Aes Sedai, a distant relative she was told, noticed that Gylde had the spark. this was one thing she did not want...and the only thing her father would not give way on. Once at the tower she soon became used to the routine.....sure she like any novice often found herself doing pennance for a prank gone awry, but she applied herself well, knowing that to reach a level at which she was used to living at that she must attain the shawl. She did so having spent three years as a novice and four years as an accepted. She chose the green Ajah, having ever been fascinated with men and being Saldaean already knowing something of fighting and battle. She was a green sister for 20 years before being raised to Keeper to Cabriannae Mikoy's Amyrlin. She was never a sitter for the Ajah, having spent alot of her time accompanying other Aes Sedai on their duties. She has not bonded a warder or warders as of yet but alway's keeps a watchful eye out for suitable candidates. She has many talents, including using her daggers that were a gift from her brother. She was found to be a Dreamer and Dreamwalker when tested for talents connected to the power. Gylde is exceptionaly gifted in using spirit. |
