| The first story I did was basically the same as the original pilot for the original series where Marty Hopkirk gets run over whilst checking out a case for his partner Jeff Randall. All the characters are pretty much the same as the transmitted version but the running time is only half the original as I thought that 40 minutes was far to long for my first attempt. Unfortunately, Liam Forristal, the guy playing Jeff Randall, went off to live in California during filming so it was never finished. Rather than re-shoot the whole thing again, I just narrated linking material to fill in the gaps. It seemed to work. The second story - Organisation Can Be Deadly is about a man who is involved with this organisation that his wife knows nothing about and has to keep it secret. The man wants out but they won't let him and to illustrate their point they have his wife murdered. |
