JUST A REMINDER FROM THE
TOWN OF LITTLE WOLF CONSTABLE
THE TOWN HAS ORDINANCES
REGARDING DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE. SEC.7-1-6 STATES THAT ANY
DOG RUNNING AT LARGE WILL BE SEIZED AND IMPOUNDED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE
WITH NO EXCEPTIONS OR WARNINGS. ALL DOGS MUST BE LICENSED BY THE
TOWN OF LITTLE WOLF. IF YOU HAVE AN AMIMAL THAT IS LOST OR FOUND
PLEASE CALL AL MOEDE AT 920-291-5509 PR 596-3389. IF YOUR DOG
DOES NOT HAVE IDENTIFICATION, IT IS HARD TO FIND IT'S HOME.
All dogs must have a license!
State law requires
that all dog owners purchase a dog license for EACH canine they
own.
Contact Town
Treasurer: Thomas Smith for dog license tags.
If your dog is caught without a license you will be fined!
Town of Little Wolf Animal Control Procedure:
When an animal is
caught, it is held for a period of 14 days during which an ad will be
placed
in the Manawa Advocate and on local cable TV. If the animal
has a license the owner will be contacted by a town official.
After
14 days if the animal is not claimed, the Waupaca County Humane Society
is contacted for pick up of the animal unless the animal is deemed to
be
vicious or have the tendancy to be vicious. Once the Humane
Society
takes posession of the animal the owner will have to go through the
Humane
Society's normal animal adoption procedures to claim it.

RESOLUTION # 1-02
A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH IMPOUNDMENT
FEES
in the Town of Little Wolf, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the Little Wolf Town Board, Waupaca County, Wisconsin, held on the 10th day of September 2002, a quorum being present and majority of the Board voting. Therefore, said Board does resolve as follows:
Be It Resolved, by the Little Wolf Town Board to establish impoundment fees for animals found running at large or loose in the Town of Little Wolf as follows:
1. Hourly wage of $20 per hour per person involved in capture and/or care of the animal.
2. Actual mileage cost.
3. Reimbursement of telephone calls.
4. Reimbursement for food.
5. Reimbursement for medical and/or property damage caused by the animal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, this resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Little Wolf Town Board, Waupaca County, Wisconsin this 10th day of September, 2002.
