JUST A REMINDER FROM THE TOWN OF LITTLE WOLF CONSTABLE

THE TOWN HAS ORDINANCES REGARDING DOGS RUNNING AT LARGE.  SEC.7-1-6  STATES THAT ANY DOG RUNNING AT LARGE WILL BE SEIZED AND IMPOUNDED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE WITH NO EXCEPTIONS OR WARNINGS.  ALL DOGS MUST BE LICENSED BY THE TOWN OF LITTLE WOLF.  IF YOU HAVE AN AMIMAL THAT IS LOST OR FOUND PLEASE CALL AL MOEDE AT 920-291-5509 PR 596-3389.  IF YOUR DOG DOES NOT HAVE IDENTIFICATION, IT IS HARD TO FIND IT'S HOME.

All dogs must have a license!

State law requires that all dog owners purchase a dog license for EACH canine they own.
Contact Town Treasurer: Thomas Smith for dog license tags.

If your dog is caught without a license you will be fined!

Town of Little Wolf Animal Control Procedure:

When an animal is caught, it is held for a period of 14 days during which an ad will be placed in the Manawa Advocate and on local cable TV.   If the animal has a license the owner will be contacted by a town official.  After 14 days if the animal is not claimed, the Waupaca County Humane Society is contacted for pick up of the animal unless the animal is deemed to be vicious or have the tendancy to be vicious.  Once the Humane Society takes posession of the animal the owner will have to go through the Humane Society's normal animal adoption procedures to claim it.
