Antelope Buck

Opening day rifle season we see a group of about 6 mulie does heading off to our right. I head to the North to try and cut them off, while a buddy heads to the west just in case I push them back to him (he has his muzzleloader and a doe tag as well).

After heading north for about 1000yrds, I turn west, after another 300yrds that way I see some movement about 250yrds away. A quick look through the binos I see the mulies does looking over thier shoulder toward my bud. I hit the ground and belly crawl a little further. At about 170yrds I line up on the only doe visible, she was quarter towards me, and the 95g partition takes her clean.

First light opening day, and one less tag to fill, and more meat in the freezer.
