Introduction: "The Koreans were sick of the current government, and were suffering greatly. Then, there was a great split from the heavens and down came a mysterious pod. The pod contained a man. He ran for the president and he won the 16th election. He was a perfect leader. The nation, Korea flourished ever after till today."
........
This is what I HOPE that the historians in the future would write in their history book. I'm saying that an alien who doesn't know anything about earthly things would make a better president.
1) Virtues/ Strengths
A leader who is burdened with the citizen's hope and desire should have a lot of vitrtues. In my point of view, one needs the ability to show a 'vision' for the country and a great 'charisma' to lead the country according to his 'vision'. To have enough Charisma, he should be 'clean from head to toe'. Deceiving the law means deceiving the citizens, which must not happen in our history. And, in just my point of view, I hope the president young enough to not have any wrinkles on his face.
(2)Platform:
there are four candidates.: Mr.Lee, Mr.Noh, Mr.Jung, Mr.Huh. But the later two of them realized sooner than the other two that they didn't have what it takes to be a president.
Mr. Lee's Platform: He's going to be less generous to North Korea, and will strengthen the friendship with America. He will allow private schools like KMLA.
Mr. Noh's platform: He's going to be more friendly with Canada, and he'll go harder on America. On the contrary to Mr. Lee, He won't allow private schools to exist, and will make them public schools. Also, he claims that when he gets elected, he'll move the country's capital to Dae-Jun.
Mr. Jung's platform: He 'had't' any platform except, 'neutrality'. Yes, he uesd to be a candidate, but no more.
Mr. Huh's platform: He 'says' he is going to send about 1000 people that he thinks is guilty to prison. He is 'said' to have the money to rebuild the capitol building nine times. He 'says' he'll support all just-married couples with 50 thousand wons. Also, he is 'said' to have a nuke missile somewhere in Russia.
3) Reality
First, Mr. Lee, who I hate the most, can't be a president. He says he'll be more strict to North Korea and more generous to U.S.A. Well, let him kiss the butt of the American Army Amigo who killed the middle school girl. At least I know that he won't be able to win enough charisma from me with his platform. He also is not 'clean from head to toe', since he has a lot of scandals with his son about the army thing. If he is sincere in his heart that there was no corruption in this matter, Instead of being a president, he should feed his cute light-weight boy to a normal-weight boy. I don't belive a father who hasn't got the ability to raise a child to a healthy man, can raise a country to a healthy one. Mr. Lee can't get away from lacking none of the virtues I demand.
Second, there is Mr. Jung. I would have liked him only if he didn't try to be a president. Why can't he be satisfied enough just being famous? If you see his platform, he is neutral. But, I don't see his platform as a real platform, but a mask to hide his lack of experience. This leads to a fact that he lacks 'vision'. A vision is the general necessity of a president! He doesn't have a vision, so he lacks charisma, so I don't like him in any way, except his great contribution to Korean soccer. To gather up what I have said, I am happy that he gave up his position of being a candidate.
Third, Mr. Noh is the one that I would have liked if he DID allow KMLA as a private school and leave it alone. Well, even if he becomes the president, KMLA will still be under the Grandpa's control, not the government's. Sue him, and he'll shout back at you saying that you lack patriotism. Other than that, I like him very much. I agree with him about the thing that the capital should be moved to somewhere else... About the money, I believe he has the determination to concentrate all the national revenue to move the capital, or.. he might be very friendly with the next person I'm going to talk about, SO friendly that he can borrow money from Mr.Huh.
Oh, by the way, let me cancel what I said about Mr. Lee, the part that HE was the person I hated the most. I forgot to count Mr. Huh as a human. Well, he is human in a 'biological' way, so it IS, as a matter of fact, my fault. I don't think I have enough space to write much about him, To be concise, he is a crazy man who gets the extacy by getting al lot of attention from many people. Also, I am just terribly afraid that this crazy guy will come out from nowhere at the next election, and suddenly become a president, like the alien I introduced at the front.
4) The Lesser Evil
As you may have guessed, the lesser evil, to me, is Mr. Noh. I like his platforms, and his boldness of changing the captial to somewhere else, although I think it won't be so easy as he says.
5) Ideal President
I thought and thought and thought and thought, but I couldn't find a perfect person who can be a president that is up to my expectation.
I thought and thought and thought to find out the reason why.
After a long thinking and thinking and thinking, I found out that it wasn't because I was an arrogant boy, nor becaus there were nobody who fits to be a president in Korea. It was just that there wasn't even one president in our history who made a good example of a PRESIDENT.
So, After a serious and long thinking and thinking and thinking, I made a conclusion. I modestly propose my Idea-
........I'll just be the president myself, and show you people how to do it. OK? I am right and you are wrong, so just be quiet as I say, END of discussion.
