While we were at the Hubert Mud Bog we saw 4 trucks roll over, 1 Jeep get about 4 feet in the air on the track shown below, and a drag truck with paddle tires on the flat truck do a wheelie then let off the gas and lower the front and then wheelie again while still making around a 3.6 second pass on the flat track which is still reallyyyy fast.
I was standing behind the fence watching this truck at the line and talking to Kyle....I looked at the direction the guy had the wheels turned and I was like "Kyle that guy is going to throw tons of mud at us" Kyle was like "Ya he will throw mud at us or try to kill us and run us over" So, I was behind Kyle watching so that if mud flew it would hit him first. The truck dumped the clutch and threw mud and went right down the wall in front of us. In a split second the truck went straight up the wall and up onto the guard rail that was about 3 or 4 feet in front of us. He drove down the rail for a little ways and then the truck went and the air and eventually fell on its side and came to a stop. Then somewhere under the oil pan area a fire started and the track officials had to throw mud on it to put it out and then they finally got a fire extinguisher and made sure it was out. They had a back ho over there in probably less than a minute and once a truck was moved they hooked up chains and pulled the truck up right.
Some of us walked to the opposite side of the track to see what trucks were over there. This is the side with the smaller mud bog track. The smaller track was so hard that almost no one could get through it unless they rode the left side and got a lot of speed with a large amount of V8 power to really sling it. When we were on this side a truck rolled over in the deeper mud bog track. That smoke is from a fire not related to the truck. The truck that rolled over we had just looked at on this side and was a really clean Jeep that was totally custom with roll bars everywhere and one solid buckle seat.
