| Open access with no adult supervision. Victim - and - Perpetrator live together, with no other adult supervision. Open access with inefective adult supervision. Victim - and - Perpetrator live together, with another adult, who sometimes leaves them alone. There is uncertainty, whether other adult, in family can or will protect child. Perpetrator lives elsewhere, but has unrestricted visitation, without adequate supervision. Open access with effective adult supervision. Lives with victim - or - frequently visits, but is/are effectively supervised, (other adult almost always present, other adult willing - and - able, to protect child). Limited access with effective adult supervision. Perpetrator lives elsewhere, outside the home - and - visits victim infrequenlty -and- only with effective adult supervision. Hides - or - denies responsibility, for abuse - and/or - neglect. Refuses to offer explanation, despite evidence - and/or - denies role in - and - responsibility for occurrences. Rationalizes abuse and/or neglect - or - does not understand caregiver role. Caregiver justifies -or- rationalizes - assume little repsonsibility - or - is confused -or- unaware about his / her role. Understands role in abuse/neglect; accepts responsibility. Caregiver acknowledges role, in occurrences, take responsibility - and - feels guilty.
