Jubilee Odyssey Rollercoaster Opens in Style [24/05/02]
Knowsley Safari Park near Liverpool will add a new juvenile roller coaster to its line-up for the 2002 season. Manufactured by DPV rides, this 'Big Apple' style ride will have a custom snake theme and will be called The Rattlesnake. It joins the Pinfari Viper coaster, installed at Knowsley in 2000 after the park purchased the ride from Marvel's Amusement Park at Scarborough. As part of the rejuvenation of the amusement park, the Elephant Express Railroad has also received two brand new covered carriages allowing riders to take shelter from the rain whilst enjoying the seven minute ride. To celebrate the new season, which commences 1 March 2002, Knowsley has a brand new website, which is linked from the Joyland Books Directory.
