Did not Say Goodbye

Because we did not get to say good bye

Dear God,

Please take this message to our loved one up above.
Tell them how much we miss them.
and give them all our love.
They bid no one a last farewell, they said "Good-Bye"
to none!

The Heavenly Gate just opened wide, and a loving voice
said COME!
Although their souls are now at rest, and free from care
and pain, The World would seem like Heaven, If we
had them back again.

It broke our hearts to lose them, but they did not go
alone, for a part of us went with them,
The day God called them home!
Precious ones from us are gone, Voices we loved are
stilled,
Chairs are vacant in this home, Which never can be
filled.

God gave us strength to face it, The courgage to meet
the blow, But what it has meant to lose them, --
No One Will Ever Know!
