Captain Amelia lay in the hospital bed on Montressor, sick of everything. She thought if they fed her anymore of that food she would go mad.
'Horrid, sickening....' she was so bored, that she though of words to describe the food. To her, the hospital was a hell hole and she was stuck in it. Jim and Sarah Hawkins entered the room.
"Knock, knock. May we come in Captain?" asked Sarah.
"Yes, Mrs.Hawkins, and please, call me Amelia, you too, Mr.Hawkins." Amelia replied.
"How're you feeling ca, uh, Amelia" asked Jim.
"Oh, much better,yes, but those embesilic docters won't grant me permission to leave. I swear, I'll go mad if I'm in her another day!" she said."Where's Delbert?"
"Oh he went to his home, said he needed to get something for you." replied Sarah.
"Oh, really?" Amelia said. Delbert walked in.
"H....Hi, Captain, how are you feeling?" he asked.
"Much better, and please! Call me Amelia." she said with a smirk.
Delbert blushed and then asked Sarah and Jim to please leave the room.
"OOH! WHATCHA GONNA D-" Sarah slapped Jim and dragged him out.
"Amelia, you see, I've been thinking....well, after all we've been through, um, we seem to have become, well, great friends, maybe more,and I was wander-wounder-wondering! If well you um, Will you murry-MARRY! me?" he asked.
"Oh, Delbert." Amelia said lifting her hand to her mouth. She giggled for the first time Delbert had heard. In the middle of the giggle, she meowed, and upruptly stopped, with a confused look upon her face. She smirked and replied to his suprising question.
"Yes, I will." Delbert gave her the engagement ring.
"It's not much, but, I'm saving up to bay-bry-buy! The wedding ring." he said. The docter walked in.
"Um, MIss. Amelia? After much confrontation, we've decided you may leave today. Your clothes are in the bathroom, you may change and leave." he said.
"Thank you, sir." Amelia replied as she got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. She came out wearing her captain clothes.
"Well now! Let me be on my way, OUT of here." she said.
"Um, Amelia? Would you allow me to escort you to ....um do you have a home here?" Delbert asked.
"No,actually. This isn't my planet, so, no not currantly." she said.
"Well then! Escort you to my hime-hyume- home!" he said.
"Sure, why not?" she asked as they walked off. When they walked out, a police officer walked over to Amelia.
"Are you Amelia Atkins?" it asked.
"Yes and who is asking?" she replied.
"You have a criminal record on this planet and there fore are warned if you do anything else you will be arrested, that is all." it said as it walked off.
"Heh heh, so my record isn't um, spotless. What the hell?" she said and smirked a nervous smrik. Jim laughed.
"Bad cat, bad cat, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when they come for you!?" he sang.
"Jim, put it away." Amelia said.
