How can you get on the (sub)council? To become a member of the (sub)council you have to be a really active member. It turns that a lot of people that have applied for the council position have never even posted a single message on the message board. One of the most important thing a council member must have is devotion to the guild. Another thing is that you have to realise being on the council is not about status and most of the time it is definitely not fun. You have to be able to deal with nasty situation, you have to tell off the people that break the rules, when you deal with those situations, people will blame you. Its important that people who want to be council members realise that. Also, the persons currently on the council do special things for the guild, so in order to be on the council you must do a special sort of thing, give an extra touch to the guild that nobody gives. Just posting is not enough. Last but not least you have to be able to - as the word council already tells - give council. Giving advice is a very important aspect of being a council member. Council members must also be prepared to sacrifice quite a lot of their free time to the guild. They have to monitor the message boards and be nice and helpful to the members in example. What do you enjoy about being in charge of this guild? and what do you least enjoy? Well its not really the being in charge that I enjoy, what I enjoy is getting to meet all the wonderful members that we have in our guild and being able to talk to them regularly and sometimes even become friends with them. What’s not so nice about being in charge of the guild is that sometimes bad situations occur to the guild and you have to take a decision, but whatever decision you make, its never going to make everybody happy and that mostly leads to people treating you like dirt. How do I make my self a gallery or put plushies in my gallery? Also, how do I get along with other members? I can't send neomails... Please answer my question. Well if you want to make a plushie gallery you need two things. First of all a shop (on your main account or on a second gallery account) and plushies. What you do is you put the plushies in your shop and you price them between 100,000 and 250,000nps. This means they can't be bought, and are for showing only. If you cant neomail, I take it you cant post on the guild message board either? Maybe you should consider creating another account in which you can post and neomail, I cant think of any other safe ways to do so. Can you give me free plushies? No I can't. Maybe you should consider reading the guild rules because you just broke Guild Rule #2: No begging! Everyone needs to work for their own things. Asking for donations is also considered begging. The Plushie Guild's Guild Rules Why doesn't the guild have any contests? We used to have lots of contests, about 20 I think. Then one day neopets send us the following thing: As you can see keeping the contests would be bringing the guild into jeopardy and we didnt think that is worth it. But we are however busy adding amusement and spotlights to replace the contests. With them you dont compete for a prize but you may end up getting something anyway. And its not about winning, its about entering right? I've just seen someone breaking a rule on the message board. Should I post a message telling them it's wrong, neomail them, contact a monitor, or contact a council member? That's great that you're being so alert! The best thing to do now is to contact a monitor, this are members who are specially picked out to enforce the guild rules and who know best what to do in a situation like that. If you're right and they did break a guild rule the monitor will tell them calmly that they broke a rule and how they can prevent this in the future etc. So what you should do is copy the message (dont forget to include the username of the person that posted it) and send it to a monitor. Monitors can be regonised by the little star () in front of their name on the memberslist. How can I get a special avatar and fonts and all that stuff you're all using on the messageboard?
