Quests

By beaver39

There are many types of quests on Neopets, some which you might get a bargain from, some which might rip you off, this article will go through which ones are good and which ones are bad.

Mystery Island Kitchen Quest

The Mystery Island chef needs food to cook the dishes for the great Mumbo Pango. His rewards for quests include making stats better, a small amount of np and other items, which may be cheap or maybe quite expensive. If you are willing to take a risk then try this quest.

Jhudoras and Illusens Quests

These quests go up in levels, and as the level gets higher, the rarity or the price should be higher. If you get into the Level 30’s, the prizes start to get more expensive, like Honey Potion (Illusen, Level 35). A tip is, when you get to the 30’s and higher, try and do the quests at a time when many people are on, in case you need to get an unbuyable and it would be easier to find one on the trading post. A bad thing though, is that you only have 15-16 minutes to do the quest.

Esophagor Quests

The Esophagor is hungry and needs you to get him some spooky food. His quests can be joined together with the Brain Tree quests, but if you complete his quest you get an item instead. Sometimes the quests are expensive, sometimes they may be really cheap, and doing these quests might be better off with not doing this with the Brain Tree.

Brain Tree Quest

The Brain Tree needs you to find out when and where a person died. To get the answers, you need to do the Esophagor’s quest twice, which could be quite expensive. The prize you get for completing these quests are usually an item, which isn’t worth much and about 1-5K np. This quest should be well left alone, as it is the worst one.

Edna’s Tower Quest

Edna asks for ingredients for her spells. The items she asks for are different nearly every time. The rewards you get, are also very poor. She gives you about 100-200 np and a spooky food that is usually quite cheap. You won’t make much profit from this quest, and like the Brain Tree, it is best stayed away from.

Snow Faerie Quest

Like Edna, the Snow Faerie needs ingredients for her spells. She asks for mostly food, which ranges in price from 100 np to around 10,000 np. These quests can be some times expensive but have decent rewards, 1000-3000 NP, a snowball, and possibly, quite a rare item

Rating out of 5: 3.5/5

Also, a good idea is, limit the amount you’ll spend for any quest so you don’t end up making yourself poor just to get a small amount of NP and a cheap item. Most people will only spend 5K or less on most quests. Of course, this doesn’t really apply for Jhudora/Illusen’s quest.
